Our 2026 conference marks a major milestone for our profession, and we are designing an experience that is transformational, human-centred, and far from the traditional “run-of-the-mill” conference format.
The Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) is proud to celebrate 50 years of leadership in advancing the rehabilitation counselling profession, since first forming as the Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors in 1976.
As the national peak professional body for rehabilitation counsellors in Australia, ASORC leads the profession through advocacy, policy development, and the setting of professional standards, while delivering high‐quality education, supervision, and professional resources. Our work supports workforce capability, ethical practice, and continuous professional development across the rehabilitation, insurance, health, and human services sectors.
The conference will be structured around four intentional Moments - each one shaping how attendees feel, think, connect, and reflect. They will create an immersive, purposeful experience that bring the conference community together, and are designed to spark insight, encourage interaction, and create a shared sense of momentum throughout the event.
We look forward to bringing this conference to you, and be sure to keep visiting this page for news and updates to the program.
